Okay, so there are 2 reasons I am posting: 1, to update everyone on whats going on, and 2, so ashlee will post about florida :)

There are lots of fun events coming up that I am looking forward to: Mariah's Graduation Party, Family Camp, SUMMER, etc. I'm hoping to spend some time with my grandparents, maybe for a week, which I love doing :)

Also, anyone who has NOT read The Last Song, needs to read it now! Ashlee let me borrow it (THANK YOU!) and it was amazing. I can't wait until I can go see the movie!

Nothing else really is going on that I know of...shopping of course soon. I'm saving up as much as I can so my mom and I can have a 'girls night'. :)

Well, i guess that's really it (not much of an update) but now you know that I am still posting, and I'll post on my other blog soon once I get some pics that are good enough :)

Mackinaw Trip!!!

Okay, so I had SO MUCH FUN in Mackinaw! The pool at the hotel was AWESOME, the Island was GREAT and best of all, my whole family was together!!!!! Here are some pics of the trip!!!

On the Bridge!!!! (it was a little creepy though I really do not enjoy bridges...especially 5 mile long ones)

The first night after swimming we went to watch the Fireworks:

We got to sit on the rocks right by the lake and watch. They shot the fireworks off on a boat!

Can't Believe it

So i really can't believe that Summer is almost over...it's crazy. I don't know If I'm ready to go back to school yet or not...I know all my classes and everything, but I'm still kinda nervous...ya know, how math will be this year, will I be doing Homeowork every day and never having free time, will I get a good part in the school musical, stuff like that...I'm just worried. So please pray for me that the first day of school will begreat and so will all the others!!! Thanks alot, hope your week is great! so YEAH i'm going to see the movie today! I have been waiting and waiting for so long to see it! (Okay maybe not so long but ever since i finished the 6th book) so ya i am hoping it is amazing, but I think it is so that's good. The only problem is that Michael said that they change it SO MUCH. I hate it when that happens...why can't they just stick to the story? And they should not take so many parts out of the movies. I mean, I don't know about you, but I wouldn't mind watching a 4 hour Harry Potter movie if it meant it followed the book better...but ya. So I can't wait!!!

Family Camp!!!!

I haven't Posted about this yet because I have been kinda busy, so I'm gonna do it right now!
We had SO much fun at Family Camp! From the Ice Cream party, to swimming, to just hanging out at the beach, I had TONS of fun! Here are some pictures!

On the Teeter Totters (I dropped kenna twice: The first time, we had this ball, and it rolled off the teeter totter, so I reached to grab it, but fell off, so kenna went down. the second time i was on the bottom, i was in my sweats and i just slid off! Sorry kenna!)

We also went to Louds!! I got Moosetracks ice cream!!!

Common Ground!

last night I went to Common Ground to see my mom! It was so fun, except that there were drunk people sitting behind us, like screaming and stuff. But it was great. My mom did an awesome job, AND she met David Cook, and got a picture with him!!! (FYI: David Cook is the last American Idol Winner...He beat David Archuletta) She also met Sheryl crow, but she didn't even know it!!! Here's a few pics of the evening:

5th of July!

So on the 5th of July, my Grandma and Grandpa Kulaga came over! They went to church with us, and then came home and ate with us. We talked a little, and went to a garage sale. They brought food for us for FAMILY CAMP (4 more days!) and even fireworks. They left later, and then at around 9:00 PM, we did the fireworks. It was really fun. Sorry, no pictures of the fireworks, just pics of the...FOOD! Hope your weekend was great!!

I don't know about you, but i'm bored. Well, okay, not really. But on days like today, with nothing to do, I'm pretty bored. I do like to go outside though, and lay in the hammock, or go on walks with my mom, but ya. I wish there was something fun to do EVERY DAY. But, we have a few open houses to go to this weekend, so that will be fun.

Kitten

So last night, my family and I went down to the track to walk around it for fun. the relay for life thing was there. My friend Josie and I walked around for a while. My family and I walked home. We heard this really loud meowing, and then Michael and James found a kitten! It was really small and gray. Well, we scared it so it ran across the yard and under a pine tree. My dad got a flashlight, and we were looking at it. Then, it started climbing up the tree! We felt so bad, so my mom told James to try to get it, and he couldn't get it, so then my DAD (if you can believe it) got the cat and held it against his chest, and was like oh, it's okay, we'll get your momma. Those of you who really don't know why this is so unbelievable: My dad is really allergic to cats. The cat was soon quiet because my dad was holding it nice and safely. we called my neighbors, who have barn cats, and they said the kitten WAS theirs, so we opened their barn door and put the kitten inside. It ran in. My dad is like the BEST. We kept going: "Aw, your awesome dad, thanks SO much!" he washed his hands inside and he didn't get an allergic reaction or anything, so that's good. I'm so thankful to my dad because if he hadn't got that kitten, the kitten could have run into the forest, where it probably would have got eaten.

AUGH! I am so SAD!! ADAM LAMBERT DIDN'T WIN!!!! He was so awesome. He could make his voice go REALLY high, and it still sounded good. I mean, Kris is okay (and ok i admit it a little cute) but STILL!! Adam Lambert was the best, and he deserved to win. I guess though at least he will be famous too( i mean the person who DIDN;T win American Idol is usually really famous too. Like the guy Rubin who won a while ago, and Clay Aken i think is now MORE famous then he is, and he didn't win.)

so, i'm disapointed, but o well.

Mothers Day

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!
Today has been a lot of fun. This morning we got up and made breakfast for my mom, woke her up and so she ate, then opened our presents. Then we went to church, and then after church me and my dad went to the Lucky House to get lot's of Chinese Food (yum!) and then to go get a foot long sub for michael and james, who do not like Chinese food. So then at home we ate and ate and now we are stuffed.

AUGH!!!!I SAW TWILIGHT!!! Well, actually I saw it 3 times now, but it is SO GOOD!!! I LOVE IT!!!! Okay, so for those of you who have READ twilight, then you will know what I am talking about: I LOVE Carlisle and Alice!!! I don't know WHY i love him, i just do. Maybe it's because like the family's 'goodness' comes from him. And alice is just cool. For those of you who HAVENT read the books, then first: read them. then watch the movie. Also, Carlisle is a foster dad/doctor in the book and movie. He's the one with the blonde hair and the girl he is with, well that is his wife Esme. And then Alice is the girl with the short black hair:

Carlisle and Esme: (o ya, Carlisle is played by Peter Facinelli, and Esme is played by Elizabeth Reaser.

Band Festival

On saturday, I had band festival! We played 3 songs, Honor Roll March, Gavotte, and Ancient Moon. After that, we went into a sight reading room and prepared for 2 songs, then played them. I was really nervous, but i thought we did great. After that, we put away our instruments and went to the Cafeteria to wait for our scores to be put up. I got a donut, a verners and a nerd rope while i waited. Then, this person put the scores up and we got: a 2,2,2 a ONE in SIGHT READING and our final score was a TWO!! That's like really good for our first time! We were all so excited. After that, we went to McDonalds to eat (here is a funny story...) So i went up to the counter and was like: "I'll have a double cheeseburger and a medium fry." (hey, i was hungry!) and the lady looked at me and was like: "Were still on Breakfast" and so i backed away, because I did NOT want any breakfast. So after thinking a little while, I asked my band director something, then announced (maybe just loud enough for the people working there to hear..) "I'm going to Arbys!" So i walked across the street, followed by everyone else except 2 people who had already ordered. After eating, we went home. It was a long day! And was going to get even longer...My aunt's shower was that night!!!

Okay so yesterday I got hurt really bad. I was running in the gym back to my friends with our volleyball, and this 8th grader ran into me, not seeing me. I flew backwards, getting the wind knocked out of me, and falling on my tailbone REALLY HARD! I went to the bathroom, and everything was all fuzzy. I couldn't see. It was also hard to breathe. My friend Jackie went with me to get a drink. In Homebase, I decided I couldn't take it anymore, and called my mom and she came and took me home. We went to the doctor because my tailbone was hurting me REALLY BAD! I cried when I got in the car, and when I got out. The doctor doesn't think It's broken, but she doesn't know for sure, since I didn't get x-rays. Today (Thursday) I didn't go to school, but I will tomorrow. If you could all pray for me, then that would be great. Its really hard getting on and off the couch.

B-Day Party!!

For my party, I had Mckenna and Ashlee over to spend the night, and the next day we would all drive to Aunt Heidi's for a Wii Party! I had a Hawwaiian party (no Idea how to spell that) and I had tons of fun. Here is a glimpse of the party:

Well, sunday me and my dad went to Kohls and got a new comforter for me! (incase you were wondering, I am FINALLY getting my own room!) So I got that, and then we picked out a cute coat for me, and we looked around at the rings (I have been wanting to get a purity ring for SOOOO long) but we didn't find one. we found one some other place, but we are going to wait and look other places. We got McDonalds too. I had alot of fun.

Just giving you an update. Oh, also, I can't remember if I told you this, but I finished the 4th Twilight book! The series is very good. I totally recomend it. But, maybe not to younger kids. There's some stuff in there, if ya know what I mean.

Well, i tried out for the lead in a musical and...I GOT IT!!!!
We are doing the musical Once Apon A Mattress, which is pretty much the story of the Princess and the Pea. And guess what?...I AM THE PRINCESS! I sing 3 songs BY MYSELF!!!!
I am very excited for the play. But my Music teacher is doing something called Double Parts, which means that this other girl ALSO got the Princess, so I am the princess one night, and she is the princess the other night.
Oh well. My friends don't like the idea, but at least i get to be her once!!!!
Just thought i would give you an update. Oh, also, tomorrow we are going to the GREAT WOLF LODGE!!!! YAY! I am very excited!!!

An African American becoming the President of the United States.His speech was amazing, and I know everyone will remember this for a long time, and pass it on. I am very happy for this day. It was really exciting, watching everything on TV. Think about what Obamas kids are thinking. Their dad, the President of the United States. It is weird now to say President Barack Obama. Usually, I would say Obama, but now I guess I will say something other. President. An African American. African Americans, who used to have to sit seperately from white people on buses, who were used as slaves, can now be Presidents. Well, as long as they were born here. I am very proud of my country now. Very very proud. This would be Impossible years ago. but now, it is possible. Hooray for President Barack Obama!!!

That is how I feel right now. Yuck. Every morning, as I get up at 6:30 am, I think to myself ( and no, i don't think What A Wonderful World) what is fun about school? NOTHING that is what! Let's list the things about school:
-You get up early
-You lug a heavy backpack to and from school
-you sit in long boring classes
(and if your middle school is attached to the highschool like mine and you share hallways with them, then you will understand this...) -Getting trampled by seniors who carelessly push us aside when they walk by.
-Having to deal with 2 boys who constantly complain about how I take up so much space getting into my locker, and are always in there way ( and even though I know this is not what they mean, i always say the same thing: "I am NOT fat!")
-having to deal with constant swear words shooting all over the school at other kids (and yes, even teachers:Earns em a good 2 day in school suspension)
-and getting yelled at by a teacher even though you weren't talking but the class was

Now I am sorry if you get this from your kids, and I'm sure most of my cousins feel this way too, and i'm sorry if i seem like I'm complaining (which i pretty much am) it's just i really do not like school. I think all this came pouring out because we have Exams this week. Yuck.

Okay so you all know how much fun we had at the lodge.
Well, I miss it so much! I feel like I cannot stand it any longer.
I miss my cousins, the games, the laughter, even some of the few arguments that come with having 24 people all in 1 lodge together. That's what I miss the most, I think. I miss the craziness, the business, and everything else that comes with a big family. I don't know why, but I just love it when everything is crazy, but relaxed. I think it is like that because we are so used to having each other around. It's not weird for us at all. The lodge is alot smaller than the Holidome, but even though it may be small, we don't notice it. some people might think we are crowded. But we are not. I know I keep writing this, and it may seem weird, but I just love it. I love craziness. I love rowdiness. I love business. And I love our family.

I don't have pictures of this, but all the kids except Michael, and uncle mark and aunt mary's kids participated in the Olympics.Micah Mariah and Mckenna were the Judges of who did the best on each game. The games were the Looge race, where we sled down a hill. The Iditorod, the Log Throw, the Snow Angels, The Ice Dance, the Marathon, and this thing where you try to hit a hockey puck so it hit a chair. We had tons of fun. That night, Mckenna (the one who thought of doing the olympics) gave out ribbons, and all the kids stood on the fireplace or these benches. Once everyone had ribbons or medals, we all sang the star spangled banner. Everyone sang really loud, and it felt like we were almost at the olympics. It was really cool. You can probably imagine how much everyone would want to stay. I'm really going to miss the lodge, but I know one thing: I can't wait until next year!

That is what I feel like saying right now. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!! Tomorrow our family and my cousins and there families are going to the LODGE! I am so excited. I haven't packed yet, but some stuff I will have to pack tomorrow like my tooth brush and stuff like that. I am really excited(I know I said that already like 5 times). I can't wait. We are going to sled (if we ever get that beautiful snow back) and play games.

My dad called my Uncle Mark last night and told him that we were already there, camped out in the parking lot! He's like "yep, we just watch through the window, ya know, high five the family inside. We are waiting for Mr. Luke to unlock the doors so WE can be the first ones in. :)

Sweet Tooth

I have a sweet tooth, as most people do. So far I have eaten (don't freak out) a piece of red velvet cake with white icing for breakfast for 2 days in a row, and a piece of pumpkin crunch with mounds of whipped cream for breakfast THIS morning. No I am not a pig, I just haven't seen anything else to eat. But I DO brush my teeth so it is all good. :)

Sleepin' in the Car

Yes, I slept in the car. No, it doesn't sound like a big deal. Everyone sleeps in the car sometimes! What's the big deal? well, there is no big deal, really, just that after going shopping (and buying a really cute shirt) I was really tired. So I fell asleep in the car. Later I realized that when we had gotten home, I had stayed asleep in the car. Car off, no heat, sitting in the cold cold garage. But I had felt dizzy, so I guess I didn't notice it. I also had a blanket with me, so I was still pretty much warm.

I just felt like posting this "BIG" accomplishment: Sleeping in the car with no heat on a very cold day in the winter and not noticing it.

Hooray, Hooray, it's a snow day! (good rhyme, right?)
This is our first snow day of the year! I'm so happy!

In the morning at around 9:00, we went outside to shovel the deck and cement patio. Then we went sledding for a while. Then it got REALLY cold, so we all went inside. Now I'm just sitting in front of the computer.

Very Scary

At school today during 4th hour, we had to go to the gym (all the middle schoolers)
and wait there as a lock down. we thought it was just a lockdown, when they brought the drug dogs in, and checked every locker for drugs. then, a half hour of sitting in the gym with kids yelling and talking, we FINALLY got to go to lunch. then we had to wait there for like an hour, way past our normal lunch time. I found out that they had found drugs in a 8th grade locker and a 9th grade locker.
In 7th hour, an announcement was made that there had been a bomb threat(someone found it in the bathroom) and that was REALLY creepy!

Then I found out that my lock had been clipped off, so I had to get a new one, and then it wouldn't open, so that wasn't fun.

Well, the bomb threat thing really scared me, and now I feel like I have to watch out for myself everytime I walk through the highschool hallways!

Sorry that I didn't post this sooner!

Thanksgiving for me was great. We went to my Grandma C's with BUDDY (he was very good)
where we celebrated younger brothers and sisters early b-day.(they got these Diary of a Wimpy Kid books)
Then we went to My grandma and grandpa K's, where we sat around and watched a movie (Swiss Family Robinson-one of my favorite movies-about a family who get's shiprecked on an island and then builds this awesome tree house where they live-if you've ever been to disney world, you might have seen it) and then we ate. Turkey, Pickles, hot fruit salad, mashed potatoes, Sweet potatoes w/ marshmellows, Cranberry sauce, corn, sweet bread, and rolls. Then for dessert we had pumpkin pie, cherry pie, and cake and ice cream.
Then we made Ginger Bread houses, which was very fun! You just take frosting and use it as glue to stick candy onto graham cracker houses (pictures later!)

It made me think. How much do we as humans expect?
I know that alot of us expect a lot, but others expect very little.
How much do you expect? Is it good or bad to expect things?
For some reason, I think it's not a very good thing to do. I mean, you shouldnt EXPECT to get everything on your Christmas list, you should just accept what you get and be happy.
You shouldn't expect to have a perfect life, because if something bad happens, you feel let down, and mad that what you expected didn't turn out.

We have been getting more and more excited for Christmas.

The days have gone by quickly, though. It is now Thanksgiving week. I have a 5 day weekend to relax. But it won't all be relaxing. Wednesday I have a guitar lesson + I'm getting my hair cut (Hopefully layered!) Thursday, we will be at my grandma and grandpa's (dad's side) where we will eat and eat and eat, then make Gingerbread houses (fun!)

Also, I have a big musical coming up next Saturday (Wizard of Oz/Wicked)
Some Quizzes, tests, and lot's of rehearsals and long days(me and my friend made up the dances for Munchkins and have to be at ALL of their rehearsals)

Well, I know that there is more, but I have to get off now.

Tonight, since we're bored, me and beth decided to color buddy's "Dog House." It's actually a card board box with a square on top for him to look out, and a square on the side for him to get in. he loves it. so we are coloring it right now. well, beth is. I'm writing this. I'm not going to take a picture, because we were messing around, so it looks horrible. Buddy kept trying to eat the crayons. :)

Funnest Weekend (part 2)

YAY!! I am so happy!I saw...it's what EVERYONE is seeing...High school Musical 3!!! It was SO good.

I found out when me and my dad went to speedway for some hot chocolate and coffee, and I looked out the window at the movie theater to see what was there, and...I saw High School Musical 3! It was in front of the theater, and I almost spit out my Hot cocoa. My mom and I were just talking about seeing it the other day, and I didn't think that it would come to our theaters that quickly! I want to see it again SO MUCH!

I have the songs "I want it All" Sung by Sharpay and Ryan, and "can I have this Dance" sung by Troy and Gabriella on my blog. Listen to them! Who ever is reading this, you HAVE to see it! When I got home from school today, the first thing I did was yell "BUDDY!" I heard the jangling of his tags as he ran down the stairs. I picked him up, and could suddenley smell the of potatoe chips. they smelled alot like the chips I go michael for his birthday. Sure enough, buddy had eaten MORE then half a bag, and he probably would've eaten the whole thing if we hadn't gotten home then. Buddy is going to be SICK. :( And he looks so innocent too!

VolleyBall is DONE! Well, we still have ONE MORE game, but then it's done. I'm sad, but also happy, because it was a little boring, and now i get to go HOME after school.

I'm gonna miss volleyball. I'm active, i have muscles...

Hi everybody! hope your week has been going well!

I have this fundraiser that I am doing for choir. the money will go to my choir account and let me go on field trips and stuff like that.

So, i know I'm not going to see any of you before the due date for the order form, which is this Monday, so how am I going to show you what we're selling? well, all you need to do is go to this website,

CLICK ON THIS

and follow the instructions that it says on the website. here are a few instructions. when you first get on the website, click on shop now. then it will come to a page that says to type in your state and city. put in MY state and MY city(you all should know it) and click enter. then it will come to the same page and say my city, then choirs. click on that, and then it will bring you to a page where you need to type in the student name(me) and my grade(7th) then it will go to the shopping page. after a little while, and you are done choosing items, you can click on it then add it to cart, then check out. you will have to create a new customer username and password. there will be a time where you might have to fill in my student number. it is 25385.continue on from there, and if you have any trouble, just post a comment about it and i will help you.

PLEASE DON'T FEEL BAD IF YOU CAN'T BUY ANYTHING!!!!

The fundraiser guy said that if you ordered from the website, after paying off your credit card, the item will be sent to you. i'm not sure if you have to pay for shipping and handeling, so you might have to.

My Itch is Gettin' wiggy

okay, whoever reads this, has to pass this saying on! how did my itch is gettin' wiggy come into our vocabulary? well, my dad's store, party city, had a friends and family night. everything there was 30% off. this was from 6-8 pm. we(us kids) got to pass out candy to the kids that came in the store. my dad wanted us to where like a hat or something to show we were working there. well, later that evening, dad said we could try on wigs and costumes. so me and beth got into a matching pink and black striped suit. i found this cool blonde wig, put it on, and handed out candy. it soon started to get hot and itchy. so i went up to mom, not thinking about what i was saying, and complained, "mom, my itch is getting wiggy" we stared at each other, then started laughing. it was so funny!!

so me and my mom expect to go to a football game in spring aarbor or jackson or portage or any other places and hear "aw man, my itch is gettin' wiggy!"
so pass it on please!!

YAY! HOORAY! our volley ball team beat morris middle school! this is our first REAL competition after losing to western and stockbridge. we faced the michigan school of the deaf, and they were good, but morris was harder. they were more competition. and we won 2 out of 3 games! VICTORY IS OURS!!!

i know it's like sep. 7th, and the first day of school was on the 2nd, but i'm writing about it now.

so, in the morning i got up at 6:00 am(i know, early)
i took a shower
ate breakfast
brushed my teeth
did everything else, that will take to long to write.

i got my pic. taken before walking out the door.

as me and michael walked into the school, i became aware that highschoolers were standing at the door, watching every person pass them.

this can be creepy.

i dropped off my saxaphone in the bandroom.

i turned in my lunch form.

then i went to my locker, then to my first period class. science. this is probably my favorite class BY FAR. the teacher, mrs. slider is about the best teacher in the whole school. we got homework on the first day in science. that is the only thing i hate.
then to second period, which is geography. this is not my favorite class. but the teacher is nice. her name is mrs. holbrook. there was no homework in that class. this i liked.
then on to math, which is my WORST class. but the teacher is VERY nice (mrs. street) there was no homework. so far i liked this class.
then on to english. this is going to be a fun class. the teacher ROCKS (mrs. vaupel)
and her class sounds fun.
then to lunch. by now i'm starving. i pick up my salad, then sit down with my friends. lunch is VERY different from elementary. people actually get to get up and talk to other friends. you can run around screaming.this is fun to do.
then i have homebase, band and choir. they were okay.
after school, i go straight to volley ball practice for 2 hours. this is not fun. this is hard

overall, school was okay. i am sort of glad to be back. mainely because i'm in 7th grade.

we had a very fun night with them, and i was showing darby and mylie our pollys, and darby grabbed this glass dog off my dresser and was like "i have to have this!this is so cute, i have to have this!" and she would take polly dresses and be like "this is so cute!well she's the cute one in THIS picture!

yes,these are all tissues that i've used.i know.gross.there are still some more in the kitchen garbage,and the upstairs garbage.and yet i still haven't used a whole box of tissues.
